I had quite a few small hits on this helmet before one that actually cracked it. I'm still disturbed by the thought of what my head would have looked like without a helmet on. I wasn't doing anything particularly gnarly, just got my weight a little too far forward on a big drop-in: small mistake that would have had big consequences. I have a few friends whose lives have been turned upside down by concussions, so I don't mess around. Wear the helmet!
It did its job well, and its been comfortable. Triple 8 customer service has been excellent while ordering a replacement, too.
This helmet is perfect for my 9 year old granddaughter who rollerblades. I was looking for the safest helmet that fits well and is highly reliable and this Triple8 Helmet is the best. Some others i looked at from other vendors looked cheap and flimsy. This helmet gets 5 stars from me. And my granddaughter loves it and thinks it looks cool
I got my first longboard at the ripe old age of 33 and needed a helmet to go along with my new shenanigans. Triple Eight was recommended EVERYWHERE so I decided to order and see what the fuss was about. I absolutely love it! I ordered the black with sparkles which is absolutely gorgeous. It s sturdy and well made and I don't worry about head safety when wearing it. The adjustable straps are also awesome.
I purchased the helmet for my daughter. Her comment was that it seriously upped her street cred. I’ve enjoyed videos of her skating progress the last 16 days.
