High Quality. Less Bulk, Worth The Price

My 10 yo son has been skating the 187 Killer Pro knee pads for the past year. They are great for vert and transition skating... but definitely too bulky for street. The Triple Eight KP 44 knee pads are the perfect street knee pad! They are the Pad to get for any street skater looking for added protection while working on progressing without the bulk. I used the size chart and measured. The size chart was super accurate. The pads fit perfectly upon arrival. Easy on easy off. Pads stay in place when skating. Great piece of equipment to add confidence and protection.

Small Singuards

Knee pads were made great and fit great. The largest shin guards were far too small. I'm a big guy, but I don't have huge legs.

Would Not Recommend for Roller Derby

Not padded enough to protect knees during derby games. I do appreciate the reinforced bottom panel and that you can replace the knee cap!

Knee pads (quads, skatepark)

I went with the large and I should have sized down. I am at the end of each Velcro straps. Beyond that, the padding is great. Took two good falls to the knee, and I felt nothing. I feel mobility is great too.

100% solid.

As my daughter is active first with her analog scooter and now picking up skateboarding I did a lot of research in upgrading her safety gear. Initially she was wearing those basic, cheap pads we find at big box stores. These knee pads are exactly what I was looking for. Very similar build quality of the high end pads I wore in the 90s, perhaps a bit better and the fact that they come in various sizes to fit the kids enabled us dial in the perfect fit. She's a sturdy kid aged 9 and we went with Medium. I'd also add their Customer Service is nothing short of stellar! Highly recommend buying gear here.
