ABOUT MURDA

Murda began playing derby in 2013. Her derby career has taken her all over the country, and world: Angel City Derby, Black Diaspora, Yallhalla, the 2024 WFTDA Global Championships and the 2025 Roller Derby World Cup. A leader on the steering committees for Black Derby Collective and No Border Derby Collective, Murda focuses on supporting and sustaining spaces where Black skaters don’t just exist, but absolutely thrive. Murda's skill, athleticism and passion on and off the track are a feat that can only be explained by watching them light up the competition and lift up their community.
